Our Piacere is a blend of several red grapes from our vineyard, with the main component in this special meritage being the Chancellor grape. This grape originated in France and was introduced in the US in the 1940’s. It is a blue-black grape, which is moderately vigorous and hardy. It is considered among the better of the French-American varietals.
