Our first Vitino blend was created in 2007, and it has always been an intermingling of several of our favorite grapes. The original blend was mostly Marechal Foch and Lion Millot, two very high-quality French hybrids; however, we have been perfecting the blend over the years, and recently we have added Frontenac and Chancellor to enhance the quality and palate of the wine.

This Wine's Characteristics
Our theory on Vitino is simplicity in process, which creates complexity in extreme. We choose the best grapes, age them in steel, and step back to allow for 100% expression of our grapes. The result is a beautiful medium-bodied wine with round, light tannins and easy acidity; intense color; and defined flavors of blueberry, hints of cassis, and soft minerals. Vitino is a social wine. It is meant to be easy on the palate, a drinkable and please-everyone sort of blend.
Pairings
Although it pairs nicely with white meats and vegetarian dishes, we love to enjoy a glass just on its own!
